Brilliant, flexible and good fun  |

I love this package. I installed it on my laptop and used the photo story application to make a fantastic movie of my mountaineering photogrpahs. I added music in the background and used some of the transitions that came with the package to give it the finishing touches.
The only drawback with the software is that to get the most out of it you have to download an 11MB file from the Internet to get Windows Movie Maker onto your machine. You dont have to have it but I would recommend you get it if you can to get the most out of the application.
Apart from that little glitch and the fact that Microsoft could have included it with the disc I am more than happy with it and Im looking forward to hours of fun with all that it has to offer!

Plus! Digital Media Edition even though I thought it was good , with some entertaining applications, just didnt seem to cut it though! It can be a lot to pay, especially on top of the original Plus! For Windows XP, if you bought it but I think Microsoft should have included these applications in the original Plus! and should not have got money-hungry charging up to £20.00 for less stuff than the original Plus! which costs around the same! Only buy this if you are SURE you want the extra applications (The Plus! Dancers are great!!)

Fun for a while but mainly a waste of money!  |
This did keep me mildly entertained for a while, but some of the features of the software made me think it had been left over from Windows XP Digital Media Edition, such as Party Mode where surely the point would be to have your computer in your living room... Which most users dont!Overall, I feel this upgrade should have either been released for free, or included with XP when it first came out - its just another way for M$ to make money, instead of being nice and including good (or not) software with their OS!
